Heyyyy, look at me, blogging daily and everythaaaang. I bet y'all don't really read my rambling rambles, but I like to express my thoughts onto here soooooo!!! Lately, my outfits have been super cute because I have been picking my outfits for the week the Sunday before. My brain doesn't quite work well, creatively, in the morning, sadly.
// white mid-sleeve shirt - thrifted // light green top - thrifted // polka dot circle/skater skirt - cotton on // white converse - kohl's // (I have noticed I make very dorky poses and I don't know if I should be serious or not from now on...)
On my last post, I said I would start wearing more buttons/pins more often so here's my "button of the day", my sister let me keep it before she moved out. We got it at a flea market for $1!!!!! ONE. Just a simple little pear. So cute.
In my little notebook I have told you about in one of my posts, I have drawn various little doodles. Sometimes people find them kind of weird and creepy because they don't understand how my brain flows/works. I am glad to know my best friends won't think I am crazy for drawing some of these. I have a page that I made last year that has some stuff some people won't understand (I thought it was totally normal until I showed my friend who I am not too close with and she gave me a weird look...) and think I need help..BUT don't worry, I am not crazy or anything, this makes me sound crazy, bUT I'M NOT I PROMISE, hahahahaha. Anywaysss, here are some of the little girl cartoons I have made this year. Different, but the same concept. (The girl with the red: she's holding a broken heart and has started eating it because she's done with boys and decided it's time to eat hearts and be a WOMEN.) (metaphor or hyperbole) (if you get it, you rock my soxxx)
If you look in the middle, you will see the letters 'TFPB'. On my last post I talked about these ass kicking teenagers that have formed groups standing up for what they believe in and that's what I kind of did! I made the name up 'The Flower Power Bitches' last year, making a group where it only involved myself... This may sound conceited, but the reason I only allowed myself to join was because I was the only one competent enough to be in it. It was supposed to be like a group full of the same kind of people and I didn't know anyone who was like me so..yeah..It makes sense in a non-conceited way in my head okay!!!! So, this year, I thought I would expand 'The Flower Power Bitches' and invite different kinds of people. It totally took a different turn, I know. I will be asking them questions each week about feminism, boys, clothes, etc. The people who are in it are pretty groovy/very different people so it'll be interesting! I decided to make it a segment on my blog about them, I shall be taking pictures of them in about 2 weeks and that's when I will be introducing them! I am very excited about forming this group and think it'll be lots of fun!
Hope you all had a wicked day =^^=
P.S. V-DUB (vampire weekend) CONCERT THIS SATURDAY!!!!! 3NDIOENWL (& I will be seeing my sister for the first time in a week WOAAAH)

Hello beautiful people of Earth! I hope you're all doing well, I kind of am, but my sister moved out Saturday so, it's been kind of tough. Never realized how rough this path would be, I knew it would be bad, but not this bad. She's my favorite person ever and now I can't turn around to talk to her. Well, I bet she's going to read this so I'm not going to say anymore until my family and I have officially took this in and not cry every time we talk about her moving out.
SO, here's my outfit of the daaaaay. It was quite hot today and made me feel sticky. ~_~ Guess who took these crappy pictures???? If you guessed my sister, you're wrong because I JUST SAID SHE MOVED OUT, but if you guessed my brother..DING DING DING, you're right. My sister left her camera here so YAY 4 ME and I was trying to teach him how to take GOOD pictures, but this kid just can't and my patience thermometer goes high vvvvvveeeeerrrrryyyy quickly.
// Crop top - Cotton On (I have probably worn and shown you this shirt like 93274979028409328 times) // floral skirt - thrifted //
STORY TIME: Okay, the bow was in my hair most of the day, but I got annoyed with it so I put it on my shirt (best way to still wear an accessory throughout the day). BUT that's not what I am going to tell you about. See that biiiiiig button there? Well, on one of my posts, I told you about the beautiful trip I took to Sequoia National Park and I never showed you my pin I got there as a souvenir!!!! BUT HERE IT IS. Isn't it the cutest thing?! More and more national parks are getting torn down and more and more animals are becoming extinct, which makes me really upset. I love and you love all these animals and imagine them extinct?! Never being able to see one in real life with your own eyes?! DEPRESSING MUCH? The little things like putting your trash in trash bins and not flushing your toilet as much throughout the day really helps the different environments in more ways than you think. I am actually in an AP Environmental Science class and I love it! Veeeery interesting stuff. SAVE A BEAR.
Oh, I thought I would share some cute pictures with my sister and I. The left was taken in Sequoia and is on my bulletin board and the right was when I was..I don't know..8??? Not really good at aging people..hahahahhaha, but this is on my desk and I thought it was very cute!
OH GUYS I STARTED DECORATING MY ROOM. I don't have many rings right now, but I decided to display them on my book shelf -- thought it looked ~*~*~*classy~~**~*~
& down here I decided to put ALLLL my buttons in my closet on a little shelf. Very cute, right?! I am still not quite done rearranging my room, but once I am, I shall show you how it comes out!
I have the coolest buttons.

ALRIGHT. I found out today that I will be babysitting a little 5 year old and GETTING PAID. Woaaaaaaaah, so awesome. My patience may be low, but not low enough to say no to MONEEEEY. Hahahaha, hey I am a poor teenager okkkk.

OH AND I read this Rookie  article talking about these badass teenagers who have put together groups to fight for what they believe in and they freaking rock. I wish I was open and smart and cool enough to make a group like that!!! I am thinking of starting one, but I don't know if anyone would take it as serious as I would...

Well, I shall talk to you all soon! =^^=

Well, hello there again! I thought I would share my outfit of the day because I thought it was preeeeeeetty great. Except, I chose to take laptop photobooth and they are pretty crappy. BUT you can still see the outfit soooo yeah!

// dress - thrift store (I think I actually stole it from my sister, but it'll be gone soon, tear.) // polka-dot red thigh highs - Forever 21 (from like 10 years ago) // black oxfords - Forever 21 // red lipstick - Kate Moss #10 //

LOOK HOW PRETTY THE BACK IS. Although, my ugly undershirt had to ruin the beauty, I couldn't find my prettier one :(

LESSON OF THE DAY: Yesterday, I had some sort of meltdown. I always have this thought in the back of my head saying that I am gaining weight and people around me can see it. I honestly don't care about my weight and if I did, I would change it for me. Not for the people around me. But yesterday I kind of thought my parents thought I was getting fat. I know, they don't care about my weight, only how happy and healthy I am. I just have these stupid thoughts in my head that tell me "Hey, your parents think you're fat." "Hey, lol @ people noticing you got fat over the summer." I just want to yell "SHUT UP" because I don't care and it's not true. I still fit in the same clothes and if I didn't, I am a teenager going through teenage phases, like c'mon. My mind just plays tricks on me and it suxxxx. I wish I could stop it, but somehow they just come seeping through again and again and again. Now, if you feel you have gained weight and want to lose weight, make sure it is not because of people thinking you're fat. Lose weight because YOU want to and because YOU want to look better for YOURSELF. Always think about what YOU want, not others.

Alright, hope you all have had a dandy day! =^^=

Hello "chicas bonitas"(that means pretty girls in spanish..I am positive only girls read my blog -- just sayin')! Man, oh, man. I have 3 full days left with my sister. THREE. How crazy is that?! We have been anticipating this day for months and now it is almost here. I shall type up a gooey/sisterly/lovey/etc. blogpost once it has officially come.

Well, if you have not noticed, I have made a few changes to my blog! I love it oh, so much and thank my sister for doing it (I am not able to learn all this layout/html/etc. thing)! Man, I am starting to realize how many things my sister does for me...ANYWAYS. Here is my outfit for today! I thought it was very cute and VERY comfortable (leggings with a cute top that covers my butt outfits are the best)!
// Striped shirt - Cotton On // Galaxy leggings - Flea Market (only $5!!!! FIVE. & I got a lot of compliments on them today ;) // pink/white heart soxxxx - Forever 21 // teeny-tiny pearl necklace - homemade (supposed to be some sort of ribbon) //

I live for pictures like these. I mean smiling pictures? SOOO overrated ;) (BTW my sister was at work so selfie mirror pictures FTW!!!!!)

I thought my shoes looked preeeeetty neat today. It reminds me of leg warmers/80's???? I don't know, but these nurse shoes rock!

STORY TIME: I remember in around elementary school - middle school, I used to wear LOOOOADS of bracelets and I mean LOADS. But then, me being the stupid little girl who liked to do things and only wanted myself to do them, I stopped wearing all of them because most of the people at school started wearing a bunch of bracelets, too (woooow omg!!! trendsetter!!!!). They just started wearing beaded bracelets and I felt like the connection between my bracelets and myself was gone. So, I took them off and stopped wearing them. I know, ridiculous. I mean, I totally understand that, but it just sounds so...dumb now? Anyways, I have decided to get back into them! It makes an outfit look much more 'cuter' and I love it! Let us start from the top of my wrist to the bottom:
  1. blue-beaded 'Harry Styles' bracelet - This was made by one of my best friends. It was the beginning of our love connection towards One Direction so, we both went crazy making tons of these! I actually made one for each member of the band..but this bracelet is quite sentimental due to one of my closest friends making it and the start of a new age (One Direction new age hahahaha)!
  2. hand-made 'Joselyn' bracelet - Here is where it goes complicated. I used to spell my name Jocelyn. Then my mother told me it was actually spelt Joselyn. And then in my 2nd grade class, there was another girl named Joselyn and it was spelt like that, too. So, my teacher asked me if I can add another S so she can separate us and not get confused. And so I did. Weird, right? BUT then my mom told me it is actually spelt 'Josselyn'! So, I don't know why I wrote it different ways till 2nd grade. It is actually spelt 'Josselyn' on my birth certificate so, I don;t even know what went wrong! My mom got me this bracelet from El Salvador, which is where my family is from. This one if also sentimental because of course my mom gave it to me!
  3. squiggly yellow bracelet - Remember those bracelets called 'Silly Bandz'??? EVERYONE was obsessed with them? Well, I got a Harry Potter themed pack and for some reason this one came in there? I got those in 6th grade and still, to this day, cannot figure out what this shape is supposed to make!
  4. pink glitterly band - Remember the one who gave me my Harry Styles bracelet? Yeah, she gave me this one, too! Hahahaha.
  5. chained bracelet with a charm - You actually can't see the charm, but it says 'friends'. It's just a bracelet I found in my 'crap stuff' drawer, hahhhhh.

I also wanted to show you my lunch box! Yes, I am a 16 year old who carries a lunch box. An ACTUAL lunch box, this is made out of iron!!!!! I am so much cooler than the people from my school ;)

Now. Here is my notebook. I got it at a thrift store and I have been wanting a notebook just to doodle and write notes in for a while and now I have one! It is really convenient to carry around and am quite happy with what I have in it. Woohoo!

Oh and let me explain why I say projects I will be doing, but then don't do them. THERE IS SOMETHING THAT ALWAYS GETS IN THE WAY. I promise, I have such bad luck in planning things, BUT I do have a little project that I will for sure be doing in the future. Emphasizes on the 'in the future'!

Well, hope you all have a wonderful week and next time I type to you, I will be balling my eyes out due to my sister leaving, hahahhaha. =^^=

LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN

Hello beauties! Today, I decided I shall do another segment of "Listen, Listen, Listen". This is where I tell you bands/artists I have been listening to a lot lately and try to convince you to listen to them!

SO, today, I am gladly to present you to: Ariana Grande

What kind of musician? Grande is a singer-songwriter. Many people have compared her to Mariah Carey.
Age? 20 years old.
From? She is from Boca Raton, Florida and, I think, is living in Los Angeles, CA currently.
Albums? She has recently dropped her album on September 2, 2013, called 'Yours Truly'. This album is said to be an urban-pop/late 1990s-early 2000s sound. She sounds a lot like Mariah Carey with a throwback to 90s R&B music.
Discovered? She was first on a Nickelodeon TV show called 'Victorious' where she acted as the part of 'Cat' who was a very ditzy teenage girl. She currently has a TV show of her own titled "Sam & Cat", a branch of the Nickelodeon shows "Victorious" and "iCarly". She has been singing covers for a while on YouTube and has done musicals when she was younger. She just recently started focusing on her music career.
Where is she now? She just started her show "Sam & Cat" and is currently touring with Justin Bieber and hopefully will have a tour soon.
Favorite song? Better Left Unsaid (It's really nice until the chorus, which I don't like much, but very fun!)
Uniquenessnessness? She is not the normal, 'pop-py' sound artists/bands have been releasing. She has her own twist that the world has not heard in a while. I find her songs very catchy, maybe cliche, but totally worth listening to! (─‿‿─)
Album cover of her debut album "Yours Truly"

If ya wanna know more about her or want to look into her more, here are some links to help you out:
Now, let me explain myself. I know she is a totally 'teenager' artist, but I sincerely like her. She seems very...normal and hey her songs are freaking catchy, okaaaaay. I listen to all sorts of music! Her album is my current obsession and I just love singing along and dancing to it! Well, I hope I have enlightened you with a new artist that you will be listening to now! Thank you =^^=

Hello chummys! Hope you are all good! I am, at the moment, pretty content. School makes me feel like I am suffocating and stressed, but other than the homework and stress, socially, I have been pretty good! Usually, that's what I am always depressed about, but I haven't felt much of it, so that's great!!!!!

Oh man, my sister is leaving in 3 weeks. THREE. I don't know what to feel, I mean I am going to have my own room basically, but like she is literally my other half and it's going to be weird not having her around 24/7. I have started decorating and I am so excited to have my own look!!!!
Here we have my ipod player thing, Harry Doll, and a few of my jars! I am planning to fill this spot with a bunch load of jars! It's going to look totally rad man.

I have also put, now mine, a bulletin board above my desk! So, when I am doing homework and feel like procrastinating, I can look at all the things I have on it, ahhahahaha. Plus, a few of my totally cute sunglasses and pictures of a few of my favorite people.

In one of my old posts, I shared that I started making an Inspiration Board! I rarely work on it, but I have put a few more stuff on it and it is coming out so awesome! Of course, there is a Harry Styles picture there, I mean c'mon. I am very content with how it's coming out!
AHHHHH! The One Direction movie also came out called 'This Is Us' and of course I have already seen it 3 times when it barely came out bascially Friday. I went to our local premiere on Thursday and saw it twice on Friday (snuck into one of the showings...ooooo bad-ass over here, right). It was literally such a heart-warming and sincerely funny movie. If you at least kindaaa like One Direction, take the time to watch it. You will not regret it.

I also took some photobooth pictures with some of my favorite people everrrrr. They're the ones I like to call my best friends. They understand my love for One Direction, youtubers, and we always laugh at stupid things. They're the best. Tonight, I am planning on watching One Direction's old movie (that did not come out in theatres) and it's basically a concert, it's pretty awesome. Also, I will be working on my collage, so it's a pretty great night (PLUS I don't have school tomorrow ;))).

Life right now is pretty good, actually. I am being more productive (I think), but I know it's going to go down hill soon because I have to read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald for school and I have SO much homework for it. I have also started reading Fault In Our Stars by John Green and it's going pretty well. I joined an awesome book club and we're currently reading it! I am excited for this school year, but socially, not 'educationally'.

I hope you all are having great lives. It is the first of September, which means Summer is almost over. Summer you have been groovy and too hot, but thanks! =^^=

P.S. I have been thinking about my major for university. I kinda want to work in communications/media. I have been thinking maybe styling?? SO, to get me more interested in that, I am planning a photoshoot with three of my best friends!!! I am more than excited because I have been wanting to do this for such a long time! Hopefully, those pictures will be up next weekend. WEEEEE, SO excited. So, look out for that!
