GALENTINE'S DAY 2015

Hello babes!!! Long time no...type...read....ANYWAYS, yes I threw my (hopefully, it's only the second time) annual Galentine's party and it was a COMPLETE success. I had so much fun with the best people and my decorations were definitely top notch this year. Just wanted to share some little notes and LOTS of pictures from the sleepover (especially because we had a little photoshoot and it came out so cute, bless).
SO, the theme was "80s formal," but I was definitely lenient on it because it's kinda hard for some hahahaha, but everyone looked so cute and I absolutely was in love with everyone's outfits. If you don't know where Galentine's is from, Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec made it up, making it a girl friends holiday. "Oh, it's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies." I definitely made a few changes, but it's all celebrating the same thing: BESTEST FRIENDS.
Since it was a bit formal, I decided to make crepes for our dinner and let me tell you, THEY CAME OUT SOOO GOOD!!! I was very proud. They were very easy to make and were just so good guys.
One of the activities I planned was to take pictures in a little "photobooth" area and these are the results:
SOOOO CUTE!!!!! Yes, I made a tassel garland that says Galentine's Day, I was very proud of it. And Arleen (the one wearing a tiara) and I blew SOOOO many balloons in order to add more cuteness to the party, it was worth it.
We aslo decided to make bath bombs because my friend, Julissa (above), knew the recipe!!! They came out great, but I forgot to take pictures of them...but yeah!!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Galentine's and Valentine's!!! I always find Valentine's Day kind of...useless. I think it's important to tell your loved ones you appreciate and love them everyday, but whatever America! Hopefully you all celebrate Galentine's OR will start to!!! It should DEFINITELY be a national holiday. If Valentine's is alive, Galentine's should be alive!!!!! Thank you to these 4 who got into the spirit and made the day very fun. I appreciate each and every single one of you!!!! Have a great week everyone =^^=
